Dominion Opens 11th Location in Ashburn, VA

On January 20, Dominion Electric Supply Company, Inc. opened its 11th branch in Ashburn at 21005 Ashburn Crossing Drive, Suites 110-120 in Ashburn, Virginia.

Ashburn Crossing rests on 80 acres in the heart of Virginia’s hi-tech business corridor at the intersection of Gloucester Parkway and Loudoun County Parkway, just 30 miles east of DC. The park contains nearly 800,000 square feet of commercial space, offering a unique combination of a professional office atmosphere and significant loading capabilities.

The new location will supply electrical contractors, HVAC contractors, builders, government and industrial clients, remodelers, and homeowners in Ashburn and beyond with electrical and lighting supplies. The sales counter will be open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is 703-858-4900.

“This is our eleventh location in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area, and it’s part of our plan to continue expanding to serve our customers by offering convenience, expertise, and ease of doing business,” explains CEO Stephen Krooth. “Our new branch manager, John Cantlin, is an Ashburn resident and an industry veteran with 33 years of experience.”

The branch will warehouse products from manufacturers including Schneider/Square D, Southwire, Atkore, Ilsco, Philips, Lightolier by Signify, Lithonia Lighting, Bridgeport, Hubbell, Leviton, 3M, Milwaukee, Lutron, and more.

“Ashburn isn’t just where I work, it’s where I live and spend my free time. I’m looking forward to serving our customers in Ashburn as branch manager,” shares John Cantlin. “We’ve assembled a great team including Tommy Allen and Eric Portillo on counter sales, and Trent Grant (manager) and Christian Low in the warehouse.”

Added CEO Stephen Krooth, “Many people have worked very hard to make this new branch possible — our operations team, warehouse staff, purchasing, IT, accounting, marketing, and the new Ashburn staff — just about every division at Dominion has contributed to this effort. I truly believe this is going to be an iconic location for Dominion. It’s directly in the middle of a tremendous growth area from all sectors, particularly data centers which drive so much of our business,” shared CEO Stephen Krooth.
If you get a chance, stop by and visit the new location. Branch Manager John Cantlin or one of his staff will be happy to show you around.
